Starkey will host a webinar on its updated telehealth model, offering an in-depth walkthrough of its TeleHear remote services system which integrates with the current Starkey family of hearing aids.
The endorsed webinar on 9 June 2026 will also explore common barriers to telehealth and discuss the value it can bring.
Starkey said telehealth continued to grow in popularity and was being requested by patients.
“This course will review Starkey’s telehealth model which has been updated with today’s telehealth and security requirements,” the company said.
Dr Judy Grobstein, regional training and education director APAC at Starkey Hearing Technologies, will host the webinar. Speakers will be Dr Grobstein and Steven Le, consumer support specialist, trainer and quality lead at Starkey Australia.
TeleHear remote services connects hearing care practitioners with their patients, even when they are umable to attend the clinic in person.
“You can talk to them, guide them, and perform remote fitting updates all in real time without them needing to come into the office,” Starkey said.
“TeleHear remote services adds Feedback Cancellation Initialisation and In-situ Audiometry to provide a complete full-service remote first-fit solution with user acceptance ratings comparable to in-office sessions.”
Starkey has also introduced more from its Pro Fit fitting system to TeleHear including:
- Sound Manager – the ability to adjust various settings.
- Consonant Brightness – the ability to adjust for high, midand low-end devices.
- Compression ratios – can now be viewed on the fine-tuning screen.
- Fitting Graph Icons – various icons will now show up on the fitting graph indicatingwhen a feature is active in a specific memory.
