Audiologist/audiometrist opportunity in Merrylands/Lidcombe, NSW.

Location: Merrylands/Lidcombe, NSW.

Employment type: Full time – 12-month fixed-term contract.

We are currently on the lookout for an enthusiastic and friendly audiologist or audiometrist to join our thriving Merrylands and Lidcombe stores on a 12-month fixed term contract in a full-time capacity. We are looking for the suitable candidate to ideally start in April.

The role of employed audiology professional provides you with a unique opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the Specsavers model, be a part of an established Specsavers Audiology business with the ongoing support of an audiology assistant to show you in the ins and outs of the store.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer care, and an efficient administrator who will enjoy embedding themselves into an amazing team.

Requirements:

  • Hold or be eligible to hold a Qualified Practitioner number as a full member of the appropriate professional body (Audiology Australia or The Australian College of Audiology incorporating The Hearing Aid Audiology Society of Australia)
  • Two years’ clinical experience post obtaining QP
  • A high level of interpersonal skills and communication skills with the ability to build strategic working relationships
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively to achieve desired business outcomes
  • And finally, you must want to challenge and help shape the industry for the better, with a formula based on clinical excellence, open and transparent pricing, and excellent products at value-for-money pricing.
