We currently have an opportunity for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our Sydney-based operations team in the role of hearing aid technician. This is a hands-on role which will report to the production team leader and work alongside our growing team.

Primary duties:
- Surfacing/planing, wiring, casing, cut/buff, final, R.T.A., troubleshoot, inspection, repair analysing, prepare impression, shell pouring, venting, design, earmolds
- Component replacement and manufacture
- Assembly of devices and replicas
- Assist with inventory control duties
- Device testing and fault diagnosis
- Hearing aid cleaning
- Inspection and quality control
- Follow and maintain ISO procedures
- Safety of self and others in line with company guidelines and objectives, including PPE
- Other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Essential criteria:
- Previous experience in repair or servicing of hearing aids, hearing implant processors or similar medical devices would be highly desirable
- Experience in microelectronic assembly
- Knowledge of the ear anatomy and/ or hearing loss
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high accuracy
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with operating within an ISO standard quality system.
Desirable criteria:
- Relevant qualifications in electronics
- Experience with microscopes
- Operation experience using Oracle.
