Deaf Connect, Auslan Stage Left, and AuslanServices are providing Australian Sign Language (Auslan) interpreters at Anzac Day services across the nation this Friday 25 April to provide access for Deaf and hard-of-hearing people.
Anzac Day 2025 marks the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings and commemorates all Australians who have served in times of peace and war.
“Deaf Connect is proud to deliver Auslan interpretation at a number of Dawn Services and marches across Australia,” the organisation said.
“Our interpreters have worked closely with local RSLs, government, and historical societies to provide access for Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.”
Deaf Connect is delivering interpreters at 10 Anzac Day services. Its interpreters will be at Anzac Day Dawn Services in:
- Martin Place (Sydney)
- Kings Park, Cottesloe and West Leederville in Cambridge (Perth)
- Yakamia in Albany (Western Australia)
- Windsor and Yeronga (Brisbane)
- Redcliffe (Queensland).
Deaf Connect will also provide interpreters at:
- The Redcliffe (Queensland) mid-morning march and service on 25 April.
- The Sunset Anzac Day Service in Kings Park, Perth on Anzac Day eve, 24 April.

Auslan Stage Left will provide interpreters at two services:
- The Anzac Day inner west service in Balmain, Sydney
- Victora Park, Perth.
AuslanServices is providing interpreters for services at:
- The Australian War Memorial, ACT
- Semaphore Foreshore, Adelaide
- Mosman Park, Perth.
