Audiology Australia (AudA) will run its Online Conference every two years as part of a program of online events to increase flexibility and access to CPD for members.

The organisation said its recent national online conference which ran over two half days on 24 and 25 October 2024 was a hit.

“I am delighted with the response to the AudA Online Conference and this year’s contemporary audiology program headlined by international and national field leaders,” CEO Ms Leanne Emerson said.

“This event is part of our continuing commitment to offer practical, contemporary CPD to members and Australian audiologists that works around life and its challenges in and beyond the clinic.”

AudA said that as a national peak body with members across a wide geographical area, it was a leader in delivery of online and hybrid professional development including online conferences and an extensive online learning library with more than 140 webinars available to stream on its platform.

“The online conference will continue to run every two years as part of these online offerings,” it said.

Delegates have access to recordings until 19 January 2025. Recordings are now available here with eight hours of CPD available.

*Note: More extensive coverage of the online conference from 24-25 October including speaker summaries will be in Hearing Practitioner Australia’s December-January edition.
