The Australian College of Audiology incorporating the Hearing Aid Audiology Society of Australia (ACAud inc. HAASA) will host its National Congress next year on the Gold Coast.

The event will be from 22 to 24 April 2026 at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre, Broadbeach.

Themed “Hearing humanity: Where AI meets the art of care”, the Congress will explore the integration of artificial intelligence in hearing health while keeping human-centred care at the forefront.

The event program includes:

  • Masterclasses and workshops: Wednesday 22 April 2026.
  • The official Congress opening: Thursday 23 April 8.30am.
  • Plenary sessions and an exhibition: Thursday 23 April to Friday 24 April 2026.

ACAud inc. HAASA said delegates would enjoy opportunities for professional learning, networking, and engagement with industry leaders, while also experiencing the lifestyle and attractions of the Gold Coast.

Exclusive accommodation discounts will be available for registered delegates.

“This Congress is about celebrating our profession, embracing new technologies, and strengthening the community of hearing care professionals across Australia and beyond,” said Dr Sonĵ  Hall, ACAud inc. HAASA’s CEO.

The organisation’s Congress event is held every two years.

More than 840 people travelled from around Australia and the world to attend the previous national congress in Cairns in May 2024.
